Despite the gale force winds and freezing temperatures there was a great turnout for the launch of a new community programme at the Battle Hill Multi-Use Centre.
The Open Day featured free taster sessions of art, crafts, heritage, cookery and information sharing throughout the day, demonstrating the range of activities that will be available for adults and the older community at the centre. It was also an opportunity for members of the local community to offer ideas and suggestions for future provision and find out how they might get involved.
