Our first ever fitness fundraiser on Wednesday 26th September is designed for the community to try new activities, get active and show support for Franks Fight against Neuroblastoma, by raising funds for pioneering treatment in the USA to help prevent relapse of Neuroblastoma. Frank attends our nursery and having been diagnosed in February 2018 with high risk Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer, he is responding well to the very invasive treatment. Frank still has a lot more treatment to go including radiotherapy and immunotherapy. Neuroblastoma has a high relapse rate and £200k is required so that Frank can receive pioneering treatment in America, which is designed to stop the cancer returning.
On the day there will be a sponsored 12 hour cycle, Fitathon with various exercise classes from body sculpting, stretching to kettle bells. For the more competitive there will be leader board challenges with prizes from local gym Energie, bouncy castle and a sponsored buggy push. This fitness day is for the community to come along, try new activities, get active and raise funds for Franks Fight against Neuroblastoma.
More information, Fitathon tickets (£5) and all sponsorship forms are available from reception on 0191 257 8000.
