Finance Assistant – 20 Hours

Linskill and North Tyneside Community Development Trust (LNTCDT) are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the Finance team to assist in the day to day operation of the financial systems and the smooth running of the office.

The Finance Assistant has a key role in providing efficient and effective financial services to Linskill and North Tyneside Community Development Trust and Linskill Trading. The post holder will work with all other departments and will be required to maintain excellent levels of internal and external customer service, accurately and efficiently recording payments and managing petty cash, floats and debit card.  They must accurately record sales and produce sales invoices on a monthly basis and recover bad debts on a weekly basis.  As well as processing supplier invoices and payments.

The successful applicant must have good IT skills, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent customer service and time management skills, a positive can do attitude and a flexible approach to work.

Previous experience in a Finance role is essential.

The post is 20 hours per week with a salary range £15,065 – £17,316 pro rata, depending on skills and experience.
