Battle Hill engAGE project worker (55+ older community) – 20 hours p/week

This is a 20 hours per week pro-rata of £21,500 to 23,000 pro rata, based on experience, and grant funded for 28 months.
Linskill and North Tyneside Community Development Trust (LNTCDT) have vacancy for a Project Worker to lead and co-ordinate the successful delivery of engAGE at Battle Hill Multi-use Centre, Battle Hill, Wallsend, North Tyneside.
This project will build on Linskill Centre’s successful engAGE programme, by developing skill-share, learning and social activities with and on behalf of Battle Hill’s 55+ aged community. This is not to develop day care provision.
The successful applicant must have relevant experience in working in a community setting and be creative in their approach and attitude in working with older adults. Suitable applicants will possess strong social skills, be confident in managing their own workload and working to deadlines, possess good IT skills, be able to communicate effectively at all levels, and be skilled in developing partnerships, co-working and project management.
All job offers with LNTCDT are conditional on satisfactory DBS checks, references and a probationary period of three months. LNTCDT is an equal opportunities employer.
