‘No Time For Waste’ Environment Day at Linskill

For the 2nd year, the Linskill Centre is hosting the family event – ‘No Time For Waste’ – on Sunday 16 March from 10am to 4pm, to help people live and shop in a more planet-friendly way.
Organised by Jackie Sewell founder of the plastic-free and zero-waste shop ‘Buy The Kilo’, in Tynemouth Metro Station, the event is a celebration of the resilience of small eco-friendly businesses in the area, especially after lockdown, but also a chance for people to talk about a greener way of life.
The centre will be filled with stalls not only from local businesses but also from several organisations offering information stalls, talks, workshops, arts and crafts, film showings, and activities for the whole family.
