Our Men’s Shed Has Moved! 

Last month we shared news of the exciting changes underway — and we’re delighted to say The Shed has now officially opened its doors in its new home, The Annex, located at the rear of the Linskill Centre.

Thanks to the incredible support of The National Lottery’s Reaching Communities Fund, this brand-new, larger space marks a big step forward for a project that champions health, wellbeing and community spirit. The move will allow us to offer more places and introduce new afternoon sessions next year, welcoming new members from our waiting list.

We’re also thrilled to have received an additional £4,000 grant from the Catherine Cookson Charitable Fund, enabling us to invest in improved woodworking machinery and tools.

As proud members of UK Men’s Sheds, we continue to provide a safe and friendly space for local men and women to learn, connect, and support one another through creativity and craftsmanship.​​​​​​​

The Shed is a place where skills are shared, friendships are forged, and ideas come to life — from woodworking to upcycling and everything in between.
