You Voted, We Listened: Linskill’s New Strapline Revealed!

Thank you for taking part in our recent surveys and helping us shape how we communicate the purpose and impact of Linskill and North Tyneside Community Development Trust.

As a registered charity at the heart of the community, we’re preparing to launch a series of fundraising campaigns. These campaigns are vital, not just to support our day-to-day operations, but to secure Linskill’s future and continue delivering the services, spaces, and opportunities that mean so much to so many.

To make our campaigns meaningful and effective, we knew we needed to tell our story more clearly, helping people across North Tyneside understand exactly who we are, what we do, and why it matters. That’s why we asked for your help.

In the first survey, we asked: What three words would you use to describe Linskill and what it means to you? Your responses were thoughtful, heartfelt, and incredibly valuable. Words like friendly, welcoming, inclusive, and community came up time and again — giving us a powerful insight into how you see us and what you value most.

Building on that, our second survey invited you to help us choose a new strapline, a short phrase that would sit alongside our name and sum up our purpose and impact in just a few words. We were thrilled to receive 181 responses, and the clear favourite, with 60% of the vote, was:

“connecting people, enhancing lives”

This new strapline will be a key part of how we communicate moving forward, whether we’re asking for support, welcoming new visitors, or showing the difference Linskill makes in people’s lives.

We hope you’ll continue to support our work as we roll out our fundraising campaigns in the months ahead. Every donation, every conversation, and every show of support helps keep Linskill thriving — for today and for future generations.

Thank you once again for your time, your feedback, and your commitment to your community.

Kind regards,
